Donna is running a first-class dog walking service. We met her two years ago, and we have used her service since. Our dog, Judy, is picked up every morning for her daily romp with her friends, including Jewels, Max and Lola. As mentioned, Hot Diggity Dog is an excellent service. Donna does a thorough check on her staff, and an excellent staff she has. James currently picks Judy and her friends up every morning. The dogs are taken to different locations, so there is a variety. We also get photos and videos of the dogs on occasion. The video is like a report card, and we are not surprised to see that our little Judy not only ignores us when she is called.... Donna has also arranged to have our little girl looked after while we have been out of town, which has been a big help, We are able to leave town and not worry about Judy's care.... If you are looking for a dog-walking service you can't go wrong by choosing Hot Diggity Dog, and the price is right for the service provided....

We absolutely love Hot Diggity Dog Walking!!! We adopted our sweet little dog, Pitufa, and she came with some "issues" with strangers and other dogs. Donna accepted her despite her problems, and now, almost two years later, our dog is so much better with new people and other dogs. Thank you Donna and Keith! She absolutely loves Keith (her walker) and we appreciate that he and Donna call us and give us updates on how she is doing. When we go away for the weekend, we sometimes have Keith watch her, which is so nice because we know Tufa is being well taken care of. I would give them 10 stars, if I could!

Donna and her crew have been walking my dog for almost 2 years now. When I first moved to the city, I did a lot of research into dog-walking services before deciding to meet Donna. My 100-pound Lab is a big goofy dope, but he can occasionally be picky and quite a handful. Donna met me at home, gave me an estimate of what she would charge me and threw in great pointers for vets, pet stores and cool places to go with my dog. Over the next few months, she became my pup’s third-favorite person in the whole wide world (after Mom and Dad, of course). He'd hang out right inside the door waiting to hear Donna's steps in the stairwell. She and I developed a good rapport as well, and she has always been very proactive about bringing up any issues she noticed (Mocha wasn't very active today--is he eating well?; Mocha is putting on weight--how about fewer treats?). I couldn't be happier with the service. Unfortunately, we have just moved to a part of the city that Donna does not service. And then I got this great note from her. She had taken the time to call around and find a few walkers in my new neighborhood, vet the list and got back to me with recommendations. Who does that anymore? These are great people. Your dog will be very happy. :)

Donna and her team are the best! My dog, MacDuff, has been walking with Keith and Donna for over two years now. He loves them, is always picked up on time and comes back happy and exhausted. I know they care a lot about him. He even stays with Keith and Donna's other dogwalker James and I trust them completely with him. Donna runs a great service and is also very flexible with my ever-changing requests for extra walks. She is really professional and always gets back to me on time. I wouldn't want to use any other dog company.

I trust them completely with my little guy and with the keys to my house! This is a great service that truly cares about its animals. Donna and her staff are good at interacting with people too! Donna is very responsive and accommodating. Most importantly, my dog is so tired when he comes back from his walks! It's GREAT.

Donna and her team have been lifesavers. My job keeps me away enough that it can be challenging keeping my big fuzzy girl happy and healthy. She absolutely loves James. Most men get a bark and a dodge when they approach, but he has worked wonders with her. The instant he pulls into the driveway she spins in excited happy circles. He has even gotten her to stop barking at bicycles while in the car. I would be hesitant to trust anyone else with my baby.

This dog walking service is AMAZING. As the previous reviews go into a great deal of detail, I only wanted to confirm that this is truly a wonderful service. My dog is essentially my child and I spoil her in every way possible, including with Hot Diggity Dog Walking. I did a great deal of research (and interviews) with dog-walking services, and I know what kind of hassle it can be. If Donna and her gang can fit you in, I suggest you jump at the chance, for your dog’s sake.

I'm moving and I do not know what I will do without Donna and her dog walker, Keith. Every day I come home from work, Teddy is asleep and tired after his daily adventures with Keith and Donna. I have never had to worry that Teddy will not be walked or worried that he will be lost. I know that Donna and Keith love Teddy (and all of their clients' dogs) like their own. In fact, I have had neighbors (who also have dogs) tell me: 1) that from their observations of watching Keith pick up the dogs in the neighborhood, he loves his job and the dogs he walks; and 2) when Teddy is picked up, he looks at Keith with love and admiration. I can only hope that I find someone half as good as Donna and Keith in our new home in Southern California.

I was going to write a long review but instead I'm just going to say that Donna and all of her walkers are simply the best in town. My dog is never happier than when he goes on his walks with Donna or Keith. He has his group of dogs that he plays with at Crissy or in the Presidio. He gets to fetch, chasing the ball in and out of the water, and he comes home exhausted and content. Happy, happy dog. Donna is so honest and fair and wonderful. We would never think of trusting our dog with anyone else.

I had a friend whose dog was lost by their walker. I've also heard that another company is abusive to the dogs...Hot Diggity LOVES the dogs...you can see it on their faces when they come and go...they are just so happy to be out and about and playing....

I met Donna in the park five years ago and she has been walking my Chihuahua, Scooter, in her "small dog group" of Hot Diggity Dog walking ever since then!

Donna came to my apartment for an initial visit and showed me pictures of the other dogs that were going to be in his group. Since my guy is so little, it was important to me to see how small the rest of the group was going to be. Donna was one of the few walkers in North Beach at that time who offered a specific group for small breeds and that was the deal closer for me!

Over the last five years, I have been left many surprises--pictures of Scooter dressed up on Halloween, a video of him playing with his friends, and more pictures showing him playing. It is nice to get to see what he does when he is with Donna and her assistant Keith (who is also very sweet to little Scooter). Their excellent communication, reliability, and love of animals keeps me coming back year after year to Hot Diggity Dog Walking.

I would recommend this services to everyone with a dog. It makes the dogs happy to get out of the apartment during the day and it gives the owner much more flexibility with their work or social schedules.

Now he’s a 3-year old dog and I feel that I owe all of his good behavior to her. Henry is so happy when he comes back from his walks. She is highly familiar with doggy ailments and always gives me a phone call if she thinks that Henry might be sick or something. Hot Diggity Dog Walking provides wonderful, caring, reliable, secure daily care for our dog. They pick him up in a van at our home, take him out to a secure park or beach location to run and play off-leash for a full hour with a small group of other similar-temperament dogs, and return him safe, happy and exhausted!

We have been totally pleased with the service Donna's company provides. Our dog is like a child to us, and we want him in the best of hands. Donna's service, whether handled individually by her or by one of the other dog-walkers she employs, is loving, safe, fun and reliable. Our dog has been going out with Donna for more than three years, and he looks forward to the van's arrival every day. When our dog has had health issues, Donna has been the first to help and identify them. In fact, during an emergency, she whisked our dog off to an emergency vet appointment and stayed until she knew he was OK. She has also been terrific at helping train, and she reinforces training. In addition, she makes it easy to get our dog to a groomer when necessary. I HIGHLY recommend her and her service.
