Amy Freidinger and Scooter
I met Donna in the park 5 years ago and she has been walking my Chihuahua, Scooter, in her "small dog group" of Hot Diggity Dog Walking ever since then!
Donna came to my apartment for an initial visit and showed me pictures of the other dogs that were going to be in his group. Since my guy is so little, it was important to me to see how small the rest of the group was going to be. Donna was one of the few walkers in North Beach at that time who offered a specific group for small breeds and that was the deal closer for me!
Over the last 5 years, I have been left many surprises- pictures of Scooter dressed up on Halloween, a video of him playing with his friends, and more pictures showing him playing. It is nice to get to see what he does when he is with Donna and her assistant Keith (who is also very sweet to little Scooter). Their excellent communication, reliability, and love of animals keeps me coming back year after year to Hot Diggity Dog Walking.
I would recommend this services to everyone with a dog. It makes the dogs happy to get out of the apartment during the day and it gives the owner much more flexibility with their work or social schedules.

Heather Howard and Lulu
"I am one happy pooch! Donna walked me for the last two years and it was great. I went out with a group of only small and elderly dogs, which was perfect for me. I am 12 and a bit delicate, so I don't always feel like romping around. Donna always took great care of me and let me go at my own pace." Seriously, as a dog owner it was comforting to know that Lulu was in such great hands. Donna and her staff took such good care of Lulu and they really cared!! Unfortunately I moved to a different neighborhood, so she is no longer walking Lulu. I would highly recommend Hot Diggity Dog Walking to any dog owner. Donna will care for your dog as if she were her own. Thank you Donna!!! We will miss you!!

Sharon Reaves and Ella
I have often joked with Donna that we are "raising a child together" but we are definitely a team. I met Donna about four years ago when my dog Dillon was in need of a new dog walker. He was a great dog but was very afraid of loud noises and his previous dog walker did not know how to handle him. Donna gave helpful suggestions on how to manage his behavior and gave him the special attention he needed to enjoy their outings. It was Donna who found Dillon in the midst of a seizure. She did everything she could but it was too late and she had the nightmare task of telling me my best friend had died. She was wonderful, supportive and a true friend. She even let me tag along with her for a few days in order to get some doggie loving and I witnessed first-hand how tough her job is on a daily basis and how effortlessly she does it. It is obvious the dogs love her and consider her their pack leader. Donna now walks my new dog Ella and has been instrumental in training my rescued retriever how to behave off leash in her new urban environment. I just can't imagine our lives without her.

Steve Azzolino and Ally
It's Monday morning and Steve (my owner) has gone to work. That's all right because at 9:30 am Donna (my dog walker and friend) will be here with the gang. Every day during the week we go to the parks or beaches where it is safe for us to play and have loads of fun. During my first couple of weeks about 2 years ago Donna taught me how I should behave and act when we are out socializing around other friends (dogs) and people. Sometimes when we are running around I will hear the cell phone ring (Donna always has it on her) and it will be Steve asking her to keep me out for another walk (okay with me!). I know at the start Steve wanted to feel he did not have to worry while I was out. He was looking for someone who was trained when it comes to medical emergencies and also would take the time to teach me some manners. But most importantly he wanted me to have fun, and I do. When I get home Steve sees the smile on my face and I tell him (bark!) we had a great time. Well it's time to go, but whoever is reading this should take their doggie over to Donna right now.

Loren, Yung and Gus
As Gus' owners, we want to believe that he is happiest with us.
But it only takes Gus to see Donna walking around North Beach
during the weekend for him to abandon all thoughts of loyalty and
devotion to us. He bounds away from us into the waiting arms of
Donna, his faithful leader during the week on his walks. We always
wonder what goes on during these walks since the only signs of
these adventures are our content dog happily asleep when we come
home from a hard days work and random pictures (courtesy of Donna)
of Gus and his buds on the trails, panting and happy. With Donna as
Gus' fearless leader of daily adventures, we never have to worry
about Gus getting hurt or lost. Not only is she a great substitute
parent to Gus during the times we are not around, she is also a
conspirator in ensuring Gus comes home a happy camper. We could
never deny Gus his walks with Donna since it is something he looks
forward to on a daily basis.

Sammy Lembi and Barnum
I am so happy to have discovered Hot Diggity Dog Walking and Donna
because she is not only reliable, energetic, friendly and GREAT with dogs,
but she is also thoughtful and caring. She treats my dog Barnum like he
were her own. I never feel guilty about going to work and leaving my dog home
because I know he is in the best hands and has a great day ahead of him. He LOVES his walks with Donna. After he gets home from his day, he is always
exhausted and immediately heads to his bed because he has had such a full,
fun-filled day, outside in the fresh air with Donna and his other dog friends.
And if you are a dog owner living in an apartment, you understand the ideal
situation is when a dog comes home exhausted. I can't rave about Donna enough. From the photos she leaves of Barnum, to the email updates, to her
above and beyond approach, no wonder she is known as Aunt Donna
around the house. Thanks Donna! We love you!
