Consistency, love, positive reinforcement and fun!
Through reading, experience and consultations with reputable trainers, we are very knowledgeable about dog behavior. We remain consistent with our routine and commands so the doggies know what behavior is acceptable. We find this approach essential to ensure a safe and fun day.
We also understand the importance of earning your pooches' love. We not only walk the dogs, we get right in there and play with the dogs. We are energetic and athletic and not afraid to get dirty! Positive reinforcement is important to us, so we are quick to reward good behavior. A combination of affection and treats (with your permission) is a sure way to win your doggies' heart.
Donna and her team are the best! My dog, MacDuff has been walking with Keith and Donna for over 2 years now. He loves them, is always picked up on time and comes back happy and exhausted.

Bios
 Donna Milich - Pack Leader
Originally from Washington, D.C., Donna moved to San Francisco to pursue dentistry. She started walking dogs while studying for the Dental Admissions Test. It was then she realized she was destined to spend her days with dogs instead of teeth! In 2000 she started HOT DIGGITY DOG WALKING! Her dog Chucky was quite thrilled about her decision.
Aside from sprinting in circles with the pooches, she loves to take pictures of her furry pals. She also loves reading about pooches and stays current on training techniques and health issues. When Donna is not walking the dogs, she loves to surf, snowboard and mountain bike.
 Carissa Anderson - Assistant Pack Leader
Carissa came to San Francisco from Maui in 2006. She lived on the North Shore and enjoys surfing and hiking. Growing up in Hawaii Carissa developed a strong connection to nature and she studied wildlife and hawaiian history in college. Carissa is a dog walker by day and hair stylist by evening. She enjoys the creativity and culture of the hair industry, but also finds great joy in the outdoors and the companionship of walking dogs
Growing up Carissa always had dogs, and in college running with her bull mastiff, Phoebe, helped her train for her three half-marathons. Currently Carissa belongs to a running club and goes for bike rides often. When not working, Carissa enjoys spending time with friends, dancing and cooking. She enjoys the dog friendly culture San Francisco provides and finds the dynamics between dogs very entertaining. She considers working outdoors to be the best possible office.
 Alex Leon - Assistant Pack Leader
Growing up in Buffalo and Toronto, Alex came out to the Bay Area in 2007 intending to stay for a summer but ended up thoroughly enamored with Northern California. She comes from a family of animal fanatics and has found that spending her days roaming outdoors with her pack is nothing short of fantastic. For a person wild about wilderness and excessively fond of furry faces, dog walking is an natural fit. Having studied psychology, she finds the behavior both interesting and endlessly amusing.
When she isn't surrounded by her canine crew, her favorite activity is seeing music, especially festivals. She enjoys playing music herself, and the banjo is her new undertaking. She also loves to read and write fiction. She can read your Tarot cards and make blueberry muffins, but not at the same time, although maybe one day . . . |
